The Door Restaurant, in Queens NY and the promoters behind the successful summer park show has launched a new radio program to be heard on WPVIP FM 93.5. The show which is hosted by Ras Clem is aired every Saturday from 9:00 am through 11:30 am and Sundays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Clem has been a staple on the radio where he most recently completed a stint as the host of the popular Sunday evening program WB Radio in the same time slot. He was also hosted on popular television programs on Caribbean Lifestyle TV along with being host of other events which includes Groovin In The Park.
Groovin Radio has had a different format that other radio program as it has so far created blend of music and discussions. These discussions will include different health topics, current news, and has featured a popular segment that it’s audience are excited about. Mic Check, as it’s been called, has been designed to all a candid conversation between host and artist where the audience will get a chance to know the person behind the music. This segment has been sponsored by VP Records and so far has featured the likes of Freddie McGregor, George Nooks, Gramps Morgan, Etana, Everton Blender just to name a few.
